Q: Is Blessed Arrows an insurance program in which our donations are considered premiums for coverage?
A: No. BA is not an insurance program. We are a group of Christian people who are all financially chipping in to help another Christian family fund their reversal surgery. All donations go into a savings account under the name of the specific couple we are funding.

I
want to be on the waiting list. What do I need to do?
To apply for
financial assistance through Blessed Arrows you must first be a registered
member of our discussion group. To register go to www.blessedarrows.org
and click on the button that says DISCUSSION GROUP for more information.
Once you are a member of the discussion group, you can fill out an
application for assistance. There is a $30 application fee that is
non-refundable. So be sure you have read the website and understand our rules
and regulations. There is no guarantee an application will be accepted.
The application process is very extensive.
Both spouses need to fill out their respective portion on the
application. It can take approximately 6-8 weeks to process an
application. Please give us adequate enough time to process your
application before contacting us. There are normally many applications
waiting to be worked on and we process them in the order received. If you have not heard from us in 6-weeks
then you may
contact us. We will notify you when we begin processing your application.
Q:
Are donations
required to be a part of Blessed Arrows?
Yes. The expectation is
that all members of the discussion list will participate in the donation
process. This is how the ministry functions. We do not require a
specific amount or even how often you should donate. That is between you and
the Lord. However, if you are the WAITING LIST for receiving funding,
there is a requirement of monthly donations. We do ROLL CALL several
times per year. During this process, those who are not actively
participating in the donation process, will be unsubbed from the
group. If you have extenuating circumstances as to why you cannot
donate, please contact the leadership team and we can consider exceptions on
a case-by-case basis in extreme circumstances.
Q: Are my donations tax deductible?
No. Donations
are NOT tax deductible. We purposely chose NOT to become a 501(c)3
organization so that we would not be required to accept applications that did
not meet with our charter requirements and statement of faith.
Q: I've already paid my doctor or borrowed money to pay for my surgery. Can I be reimbursed?
No. As a privately owned and operated ministry, we are simply not setup to pay recipients directly. All funds are paid directly to the physician you select for your procedure.
Q: I don't live in the United States. Can I still qualify for financial assistance?
Yes, but all payments will be made directly to your physician in U.S. funds only, regardless of the exchange rate at the time. Any difference between the amount paid by Blessed Arrows and the amount charged by the physician will be your responsibility to pay.
Q: I'm not currently married. Can I still qualify for assistance?
No. Blessed Arrows is a family-based and supported ministry. You do need to be legally and biblically married (one man and one woman) at the time you apply. This information will be verified prior to approving your application.
