CONTEXT:

The theme for the Blessed Arrows is taken from scripture.

"Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5

My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, oh God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17 (Amplified Version)

WHAT IS BLESSED ARROWS?

Blessed Arrows is a ministry and email support group for people who are committed to trusting God with their family planning. This means no birth control. We specifically minister to those seeking to reverse sterilizations. This ministry exists with a primary purpose of getting people together and pooling our finances through donations to BA to FUND the reversal surgeries.

The list is moderated. When you are subscribed you can receive individual posts or a digest of the posts.

* PURPOSE

Blessed Arrows exists to enable people to walk in obedience and repentance. It's primary function is restitution, not reproduction. Our primary goal is to collect the funds to pay for the reversal surgeries. 100% of all donated funds go to the surgical expenses. All administrative costs are paid out of pocket by our own staff members.

Blessed Arrows is designed for Christian couples to confess openly their sin, repent before God and others, and act on that repentance through obedience in putting their bodies back the way God designed them and trust in Him for their family.

The issue is obedience first. Jesus is Lord over all aspects of our lives, including the number of children He chooses to give. We would certainly enjoy having more children, but we will not do anything unusual to try to "help" the Lord give us some, nor will we do anything to hinder the possibility of conception.

Blessed Arrows was founded by Brad & Dawn Irons and Rick & Deni Breitenbach in 1997.

We are heeding what we believe to be a call from God to assist Christian couples through financial donations, prayer, encouragement from Scripture and personal experience, providing information, and allowing others to assist the current recipient family financially in order to achieve their reversal surgery.

In order to join the BA discussion group you must make a donation to activate your membership. Donating does NOT mean that you will be accepted to the waiting list if you apply for funding. Donations are required of all members whether you are seeking funding or not.

Blessed Arrows has established a reversal fund. We require that anyone seeking financial support complete an application. We do not guarantee support to anyone. All applications are prayed over and processed. This includes making contact with your pastor for a Character reference. If accepted, the couple is placed on a waiting list.

We have what we call "ROLL CALLl" a couple of times each year. ROLL CALL enables each of the members of BA to recommit to the purpose of this ministry. All members must respond to the ROLL CALL or risk being removed from the discussion group. To respond to the ROLL CALL, you reactivate your membership with a donation. PLEASE REMEMBER-WE ARE ABOUT THE MONEY TO FUND REVERSAL SURGERIES!!

To reiterate the BA email discussion list membership requirement:
in order to remain an active member/participant in the MEMBERS ONLY email list you must be willing to donate to this ministry on a regular basis. Donations are required to activate your membership to BA.

Blessed Arrows has two waiting lists-one for Tubal Ligation reversal and one for Vas Deferens reversal. You must designate the fund you want your donation applied to or it will go toward the Tubal Ligation reversal fund.

Donations are NOT tax exempt.

	Some things we would like to see within this forum are: 1. Sacrificial giving and donations to the surgical funds
	2. Testimonies of personal experiences of Christians who have had reversal surgery.
	3. Testimonies of personal experiences of Christians who want to have reversal surgery.
	4. Discussion of questions, struggles, practical help and advice for quiverfull families.
	5. Development of friendships of like-minded believers.

* GUIDELINES

1. The Blessed Arrows e-mail list is a discussion forum to encourage the body of Christ. All participants are expected to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit. (Gal. 5:22-23) toward each other. If you have criticism, prayerfully write and edit it. Often the tone of your comments is as important as the content, especially for maintaining orderly communication via e-mail. The moderators have the right to reject comments that are not appropriate. (We reserve the right to edit any posts. This means removing sections that we deem inflammatory).

2. This discussion group is not a forum for theological or doctrinal debate.

3. The Blessed Arrows e-mail list is a forum for Christians who affirm the basic tenets of the faith including:

    a. Belief in the Trinity: God the Father, the Son of God Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

    b. The inerrancy, sufficiency and authority of the Holy Bible as the only inspired word of God.

    c. The atonement for our sins by Jesus Christ for those who believe.

4. To help control the mail traffic, please do not send short responses like, "I agree", "Amen", or "Thanks" to the whole discussion group. These kinds of responses can be sent to the appropriate parties via private e-mail.

5. Please give a description in the "Subject" line of all messages.

	6. We do not allow advertising. You may put a link under your name referring to your business but uninvited solicitation of digest members is not allowed. Members may not collect or harvest email addresses from the discussion list for their own purposes. This is considered SPAMMING and is cause for removal from the discussion list.
	* THE FORMAT

Blessed Arrows is an e-mail discussion list. Members can receive individual messages or a daily digest version. Using your subscription page and password you will be able to make changes to your subscription. This will give you the ability to make changes as you like.

By your subscription to the Blessed Arrows e-mail list you accept the above charter and guidelines. Violation of these guidelines may result in your removal from the group.

WE BELIEVE that marriage is biblically defined as being between one man and one woman. We believe than any sexual relations outside of a biblically defined marriage are sinful. This would include pre-marital sex, extra-marital sex, and homosexual relations.

Please remember the primary purpose this site even exists is to collect donations and FUND these reversal surgeries!! If that offends you, then this is NOT the place for you. Collecting donations for the surgeries is what this ministry is about. Make no mistake...IT IS ABOUT THE MONEY to get the surgeries funded
